what is double stacked bass

Double stacked bass is a very tight and well controlled low end with a custom design that can produce plenty of low end without sounding bloated, it's not just heavily boosted bass

how Clarity/Punch works

Clarity/Punch can be used standalone or together with Sizzle to get different response in the upper range. On its own it will bring clarity to the sound, pushing it more gets tighter and punchier. Add bass to this and the result is fat and clean sound. It also works exceptionally well with Lane Poor pickups and pushes clarity to the next level

Clarity/Punch + Sizzle together can produce quite punchy and aggressive top end and can reach
+28dB in the defined region if both controls are maxed out. Experiment using them together to find the top end you like or the one that suits specific pickups better

Clarity/Punch boost, minus Sizzle (cut) can produce attack/punch with less aggression and tamed top end for a softer cut through

Mid sweep range

±16dB @ 90Hz – 2.5kHz
center detent frequency 300Hz

Mid frequency sweep

when set flat (no boost or cut) at center detent is neutral to everything. Keep the mids flat and roll the sweep to low end (90Hz) to take the edge off of Bass (when boosted), roll it to high end (2.5kHz) to take the edge off of Treble (when boosted). If Bass and/or Treble are flat, sweeping the mids in also flat position makes no difference

center detent frequency is defined at 300Hz so it's ready to cut and clean up the mud without turning the sweep pot from center detent

mid end frequencies (90Hz and 2.5kHz) are designed to also complement the Bass and the Treble and can be used as an extension to each for either boost or cut, or can be used in the middle for creating a mid scoop at any chosen frequency. Mid sweep is very consistent across the range and is designed to soften up harsh regions. Experiment

Classic's Bass, Mid and Treble controls are well tuned standard controls that behave in a classic way

The external switch can also be replaced by a push-pull pot, or left out and either of the 2 frequencies can be preselected with direct wire connection, isolated and folded aside
